After a quick and gentle exam, Dr. C identified it as hemangiosarcoma--a form of blood cancer. She kindly explained the prognosis and the alternatives, and when we had to put our fur baby down a week later, she and her staff were very compassionate. She even agreed to assist with time-sensitive biopsy and packaging of the materials to be sent to a cancer research center.
